Rachel Roman

Meet Rachel

Rachel Roman grew up in a small, northwestern Illinois town, where she learned the importance of hard work and caring for others. This led her to pursue a career as a registered nurse — eventually working in an emergency room in Chicago.

Though nursing gave her an outlet for compassion, Rachel felt drawn outside of the clinical setting. Having seen the impact of injuries every day, she wanted to become an advocate for people going through the most difficult times of their lives.

Consequently, Rachel pursued a career in personal injury law, finding that her nursing background gave her an edge in the courtroom. She deeply understands medical terminology and the situations her clients have experienced. As such, her 20-year career has often focused on handling medical malpractice and birth injury cases.

At Roman & Boock, Rachel is known for her honesty and integrity. She treats each client as if they were a member of her own family — communicating clear expectations, remaining available for support and fighting relentlessly for justice.
