About
Rachel Roman is a trial lawyer with Rossiter & Boock LLC. Rachel has successfully litigated cases in the areas of complex medical malpractice, birth injury, wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, and products liability.
Rachel grew up in rural northwestern Illinois, where she learned the value of hard work and integrity. Following high school, Rachel attended Loyola University-Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She subsequently worked as an emergency room registered nurse in Level 1 trauma centers in Chicago. During her nursing career, Rachel gained a broad perspective on the healthcare system. She then realized that she wanted to continue to help injured people in a different way, and so began her path to becoming a lawyer.
Rachel moved to St. Louis to attend law school at Saint Louis University and to attend the university’s prestigious health law program. During law school, Rachel earned a Certificate in Health Law, was a lead editor of the Saint Louis University Journal of Health Law, and worked as a legal extern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Health Care Fraud & Abuse Division. Rachel is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri, Western District of Missouri, and Southern District of Illinois.
Since becoming a lawyer, Rachel has dedicated 100% of her practice of law to helping improve the lives of injured people wronged by others. Rachel has spent a large part of her career pursuing complex medical malpractice matters, including birth injury cases. Rachel enjoys helping her clients obtain the answers, closure, and justice that they deserve. Rachel has tried cases to verdict in Missouri and Illinois in the areas of birth injury, medical malpractice, truck crashes, and product liability. Rachel’s nursing background gives her a unique perspective in which to evaluate medical malpractice actions and understand the injuries and illnesses her clients suffer. Her clients often comment on Rachel’s sense of compassion and respect with which she treats them and her prompt attention to their concerns. Rachel was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014 and a Super Lawyer in 2015 and 2017-2023. In 2012, she was named by the National Trial Lawyers Association as a Top 40 lawyer under the age of 40 in Missouri. In 2023, she received a Women’s Justice Award.
In addition to her work on behalf of Rossiter & Boock clients, Rachel is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys – Board of Governors, the Women Lawyers’ Association of St. Louis, the American Association for Justice, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan Saint Louis. Rachel has lectured in the areas of Traumatic Brain Injury and Anatomy and Physiology for Attorneys.
